So I ordered my car back in March and started the waiting game. The waiting game went on and the 05 GT order bacame a 06 gt order. Made a call last week to my dealer to see if there was any VIN# and or build date yet. No response so I am guessing they have no idea. Well finally get a call yesterday and expecting the we still don't know routine, but am told he has great news for me. The words are still lingering in the air, your car is here.

That's right the wait is over, I am now the proud owner of a black 06 Mustang GT premium w/ IUP. Let me tell you that baby is sweet. Still got a case of permagrin. To all those still waiting, I know it sucks but believe me when she shows up all that goes out the window and you will be filled with joy. Getting some pics today and hope to post soon, gotta go burn some gas

To all thanks for the welcome, gonna get some better pics. But at least got a couple up. Any one know the best place to get a shorty antenna the stock one is not that appealing

Have you checked out the BMC? Check us out and tell them S197 GT sent you.

TMS is a great site. You'll find a lot of info here. It gets real addicting too!

Any plans on mods, or are you a stock kinda person?

Proud papa is doing great, the permagrin is still attached. Can not say how amazing the car is!!! Have these next two days off and plan on doing nothing but driving.

S197GT thanks for the info on BMC will probally be over there as well. Right now not spending too much in front of the screen, all behind the wheel. Mods are to come, K&N cone, Eibach springs, undecided on mufflers, tint 5% rear and 1/4, 15% side and 45% windshield, Diablo and many many more I am sure. Tires and wheels next year after I bake all the tread of the currents 275's 40 18 or 19. Gone again must go drive, the car is addicting.
