Marci, GT's certainly do hang out with V6's. Family is family!

Matt, if it shows invoice and retail, that is probably your DORA.

I received this other information from Kzinti over on the Blue Oval News site. If you have your VIN, visit www.blueovalnews.com and register to post in their messgae boards. Go to the Ford employees board and you'll find a thread started by Kzinti where you can request information on your order. You DO have to have your VIN, or he won't be able to assist you.

He's a Ford employee in Kansas City, and most helpful. Here's his breakdown of the items on the list. . .

Receipt Date: The date that MS&S recorded the order.
When the order is received from the dealers.

Serialize Date: The date that MS&S transfers the order to MP&L and the VIN is created.
When the order is received by Material Planning and parts are ordered.

Segment Date: The date that MP&L determines which week the order will be built.
When they figure (roughly) that parts will hit the plant to build vehicle.

Sequence Date: The date that MP&L determines which day the order will be built.
When they figure the exact day that parts will hit the plant to build vehicle.

Blend Date: The date that MP&L determines when the order will be built within the assigned day.
When they figure the order that vehicles will be built. This depends on options and line constraints.

Produced Date: The date that VO finished assembling the vehicle.
Your unit has been built!

Gate Release Date: The date that VO transfers the vehicle to Transportation Carriers for shipping.
Your unit has left the building, and is in the hands of the shipper (rail or truck).

Ship Date: The date the vehicle left the Assembly Plant.
Your unit has left the load site, and is on it's way to the dealer.

Arrival Date: The date the Dealership received the vehicle.
Your dealer has the unit in hand, doing the dealer prep thingy.

Sold Date: The date the Customer picked up the vehicle.
You came in, looked it over, said, "I'll take it!" and signed the papers.

ERL Today - "As of August 29th, your unit has been released from the Ford assembly plant, with an anticipated delivery of September 9, 2005."

She's built! She's built! She rolls, she breathes, she snorts fire!

Yep! People will be able to hear both of us in Montana!! I was hoping to have heard more by today, but oh well. My salesman is off work on Thursdays since he works Saturdays... so I doubt I will hear anything today. Oh well... I hope it's here by tomorrow and we can get it tomorrow night!! I will of course throw pics up on the intros/pics section when we get it. -Marci

For those of you who have ordered '06 mustangs, how much "lead time" is there? My current car is under lease which expires end of February 06, and I want to order my stang so it arrives at that time. When should I order?

That is awesome. Try to control yourself and save some energy for when you actually get to pick it up. Here's some nanners.

ERL: "As of September 4, 2005, your unit has arrived at the ramp."

:w00t: Does that mean she's local now?

Did you JUST call and get this info? Or did you call earlier? I am curious since mine was supposed to have been here this weekend and I called this morning after the ERL was turned back on after her weekend vacation. Mine still says "As of august 27th your vehicle has been shipped via convoy carrier." Is the convoy carrier a truck? Or is it a train type thing? I will call later to see if she has updated anything since this morning. -Marci
