'nother newbie
This isn't my first post, but I thought I should post an intro here, anyway. Name is Mark and I'm from the Central Kansas area. I've just ordered my first Mustang: 2013 V6 Premium Convertible, Automatic, Mustang Club of America Edition, Candy Red.
I'm a 53 year old professional, currently driving an '02 Chrysler Sebring Convert. (which I'm trading) and an '07 Lincoln MKX (my daily driver). I've always been a fan of nice/neat/fast cars, but haven't had the chance to own many. My first car out of college was a 1980 MGB convertible. That was my first true "sports car", although by today's standards, it was pretty slow.
As I mentioned in another thread, I test drove both the Mustang and the Camaro convertibles in the past month, both V6's, and came away preferring (to my surprise) the Mustang. I did NOT test drive the new Chrysler 200 convertible, even though they have upgraded to a 275 hp 3.7L V6 option. I just couldn't see myself driving something that hideous looking. I also test drove a Nissan 370Z, but found the ride too harsh and didn't think I could get by with the lack of space for storage/luggage.
Now, I'm just sitting around waiting for the car. I have a feeling the next several weeks are going to really drag on.
