Hello, fellow Mustangers! Long time lurker first time poster here. Thought it'd be a good time to join the forum as I just picked up a black on black 2011 Mustang GT coupe yesterday. The only options are the premium and brembo packages with a spoiler delete. This is my second Mustang... I had a 2001 v6 convertible for 5 years... and my early childhood was spent in a '66 coupe. I've been looking for a car to replace a '98 Boxster for months now. The only criteria being fun to drive and back seats for a couple little kiddos. I considered everything from a VW GTI (decent interior but oddly more boring to drive than expected) to a Mini Cooper (fun to whip around but can't adjust to the quirky interior) to a used BMW 135i (hard to find with a manual transmission and afraid of maintenance issues). I came close to buying a new WRX sedan but just seemed like I had to drive it harder to get at the fun and the seats are not that comfortable. On a test drive of the Mustang GT on the same day, it was more comfortable and a blast (power everywhere, obviously), handling so sharply-- very inviting to drive. So here I am now making any excuse to hop in for a drive... even shopping for groceries one item at a time.

Thanks for the welcome! I have to say that I really, really, really love this car! I can't believe I was ever on the fence getting it. Also, it is so much cooler than me it is not even funny. (hope the honeymoon never ends)
