NEW STANG IN Connecticut
I just picked up my new (slightly used - 7k miles) today. It is a BLAST to drive - until tomorrow when we get snow, sleet & freezing rain. It is Vista Blue, 5 spd manual, and it will be my daily driver except in severe snow & ice storms then I will need to take the wifes truck or one of my kids 4 wheel drives. I put 125 miles on it this afternoon and loved every minute of it. I saw way to many cops looking at me - gotta use cruise control more ofter cause 70 feels like 50mph. So tonight it sits in the garage next to my '65 Mustang convertible. That one is a 289, AT, Caspian Blue with a white top. Now that one NEVER sees bad weather only nice sunny days

Thanks for the "Welcome's" New England is ok but had to wash the stang two times this week already and it is only Wednesday...hate the snow!!! But the stang is still fun to drive in this crappy weather

You drive it now? With all the salt and slush on the roads, I am terrified to pull it out of the garage. I always told myself I would drive it all year long, but after seeing what the roads look like now.....I just ordered a car cover.

yes I do!!
yes i do drive it EVERY day here in New England. However I do wash it every 3-4 days to make sure it stays clean. We have gone to a salt & sand free zone. They are putting down a liquid chemical (probably liquid salt) which is green and does not leave all the white salt residue on your car.
