Awesome! It finally arrived today and I went to the dealer this afternoon to pick it up.

This is the first car my wife and I have ever owned (have been bussing the last couple years) Check it out!

 

Yep, so that DORA is my baby It looks like the order was accepted on monday. So I am on my way.

I have a couple questions though, when I called ERL, she says 'No status is available using the information you provided' .

Now, the order went through monday, today is wednesday, do I have to wait until Thursday for ERL to even acknowkedge me so far? What time on Thursday?

Wow, I am one step closer to getting this car. It feels great. I can't wait until I actually belong here 100% and can share pics with ya'all.

Congrats! I've got a V6 vert, let me tell you, you are going to LOVE this car.

That is not the full VIN, on mine there is a "1Z" in front of the "VFT84N" and 9 numbers following "N". They probably haven't assigned a VIN yet, that's just the part of it that they know for sure based on the order content.

 

Congrats on your order...you are going to love the car!! My DORA had a "partial VIN" on it too. The first time that I saw the complete VIN was when I picked up my car. When I called ERL I just used the dealer code and order number to check status. Good Luck to you and be sure to post some pics of your baby when she arrives!

 

You get the full VIN when your car starts down the production line - until then you have the 'partial VIN'. At least that's what happened to me. I called the dealer after being 'picked' for production saying I needed the full VIN for insurance and got it at that point.

ERL doesnt have any status for my car, even when using the order number. Could this be because i ordered Monday and it's only Wednesday?

 

Don't use any letters in your dealer number - I have an 'F' in front of mine - I never use that. I think Dealer codes are 5 digits only.
Of course I've never called that number
