1967 Notchback Newbie

Hi all,
Found this site on a search engine. Thanks for allowing me to participate in such a cool forum. I’m building a 1967 Mustang. Actually to arrive in 3 hours. Looking to possibly do a coyote swap twin turbo so I can cut the hood “Hoonicorn Style” and leave the top of the turbos exposed. It’s either this or leave the 351 that’s in there alone and add fuel injection, notch the hood for clearance and build the suspension first as I would also like to auto cross one day.
Feel free to comment as I’m experienced in both building suspensions and engines from a few cars in the past so probably can relate to most opinions

Before the build

Back in the dark ages (2004), I came across an article about the new Mustang design. It included images of the concept for the S197s, and a mention of this website.

I visited the site, and been around ever since.

Very nice find on the "67" coupe. She looks in very excellent condition. Personally. I really don't think you can go wrong with either sticking with the current 351 windsor by converting to fuel injection or doing a coyote swap. If nothing is mechanically wrong with the 351 windsor? I would start there first before investing in a coyote engine swap. Meanwhile, welcome aboard and thanks for sharing an image of your "67" coupe
