How Did You Find TMS
Found this back in 2006 when I was researching if I could retrofit the MyColour cluster into my 05 convertible. Found a thread on doing just that here on the Mustang Source. Joined and picked up many retrofit ideas as well as sharing many for 05/09 and 10/14 owners.
congrats... we have weekly events n cruises if you r interested to join in... visit my instagram page @cinizter
Just bought a 2010 Red Candy Mustang (my first) and wanted to get some answers to a few questions.
1 - Is it a base v6 or premium. It has the glass roof, shaker sound system, and 18 inch wheels. It does not have leather and the dealer was selling it as a base model.
2 - The steering is VERY heavy, which is odd since most seem to complain about over-assisted steering.
3 - Strange intermittent hum coming from (I assume) the tires. It gets quicker the faster I go, then disappears when I hit highway speed. Tires are Perrelli S1.
Bought it for 16900 Canadian (about 16500 US) Has 58000 kms (35000miles). Obviously treated well up to now as it's spotless. Any advice.

The 2010s did not have the electric assisted steering. Check your power steering fluid level?
Could be the tires...
About a month ago, I decided I was ready to take the plunge and buy a Mustang. I went back and forth on whether I'd get the V6 or V8, which options, etc. After searching all things Mustang, Google brought me here. There are plenty of Mustang forums out there, but in my opinion, TMS is the best. I'm really happy with my choice and am looking forward to the mods that are coming. TMS is an incredible source of info and has a great group of friendly, helpful, and supportive Stang Enthusiasts!
I'm 62 James, and over on the east side of Houston. We ought to form a Old Guy-New Mustang Club of Houston or something.
I am a 67 year old male originally from Pennsylvania. I owned one of the 641/2 Mustangs in 1964, poppy red with a black interior. I have owned numerous fords since then and even raced a little in my younger days. I currently drive a 2009 F-150
super crew, a 2013 Focus ST, and two 2013 Boss 302's. As you can guess I am hooked on fords.
