Prior to our move to Indiana we were very active in our Mustang club; however, since that move the 'Stangs pretty much stay in the garage. Hers is undergoing some engine work, trying to ascertain why she overheats in spite of the fact that she has a brand new Edelbrock water pump.

I am working on a classic car cruise-in for 2014 that will be spotlighting the 1964 1/2 Mustang and will be featuring any Mustang that was an official Indy 500 Pace Car. I was searching the internet for a stock non-copyrighted photo of a '64 1/2 Stang I could use on a flyer, and that's how I found TMS. I was intrigued, so I joined.

Talking 2005 mustang deluxe v6 sds 55 0f 200 5spd

i bought my mustang a week ago and i love it it is one of the San Diego Specials but mine is Torch Red. and from what i have read so far it must have originally had a stripe but mine is metallic red same color as the one at top of this forum page. it has only been a week but it is great. I need some advice on upgrades. i was thinking about getting the the hood scoop and side scoops by B/F said it would look gay if i did but I am very much a Chick and i dont mind looking gay. any suggestions also i was told i have flowmaster exhaust is that good or bad? I know i will need some new 17" tires before end of month cause this little v6 is leaving rubber all over north county san diego

I found this site by Googling "SSP Mustang for sale", and found a 93 listed in your vehicle classifieds. I am researching VINs of SSPs as part of a VIN Project as our SSP site. So far we have documented over 2,600 cars.

FOUND IT LOOKING FOR THE TOP SPEED BOSS 302, WITHOUT THE LS PACKAGE

Thanks!!
I found it, trying to find the top speed of the BOSS 302, without the Leguna Seca package. A car I am looking at buy now, used. Most specifically, according to FORD, the V6 Mustang 2012-2014, has a top speed of 115. The GT is set at 135. And, according to the Ford official speaking with Jay Leno, about his new 2013, Leguna Seca, BOSS 302, the top speed is 155. I have spent a couple hours trying to find what it was for the non LEGUNA SECA (LC) BOSS 302. It is not 155; for one thing, the key that comes with the LC, changes the governor's limitations. I do not have a number for the other one, the one I am currently looking at and would like to have it. It would be nice to know what the top speed really is, before and after the governor is altered.

For one thing, the current Camaro SS, and the base Corvette Coupe, both have heads up displays, and independent transmission as standard equipment and both have higher initially governor set top speeds, much higher. Any car with the rear end ratio, six speed manual, curb weight, horse power and torque of the Mustang Boss 302, without the Leguna Seca package, should have room between what the governor set top speed is and the rpm yellow line. I just cannot find it.
