Nice! Don't see many 69 Coupes these days. Is it a Grande? What motor?

Here's mine, the quarter scoops aren't painted black like they are supposed to be, mistake by paint shop that I never fixed.

I agree you don't see a lot of these cars anymore. It's not a Grande...the car originaly came with a 302ci. I replaced it with a 351W. I had a set of the Magnum 500's like you have there, but believe it or not, some guy came up to me one day a few years back and ask me if I wanted to sell them. He said he had been looking for a complete set of 14's with the center caps and could not find them anywhere. I of course said they were not for sale. He said "I will give you $800 cash." I said ok sure. I guess he wanted the wheels really bad. So I went off and bought me the wheels that are on the car now.

Your car looks good as well....
Hey, Now that I think about it...did you ever live in So. Cal...because I think I remember seeing your car down here in the Inland Empire !!

69 coupes are awesome... Back in 1984 I could have bought one for, get this, $300.00 all it needed was a battery. My friends Dad looked at it and gave the go ahead. I had a choice; the 69 stang or a ski trip with my girlfriend and some friends.....should have bought the car.

I bought mine in 89 from the original owner for $2,100 and it was 100% original just the paint was bad from being outside. Fortunately they kept the dash covered so it was still in mint condition. I will have to recover the front seats this spring as the threads and foam have finally let go.

Good deal for $2100...I bought mine in 1996. I paid $700 for it from an old man. He said he did not want the car anymore and wanted to get rid of it. The car had been sitting in his garage for 12 years. He said he needed the space. Talk about being in the right place at the right time ! I have done a lot of work to the car since I took ownership. The car was all stock...it even came with an air conditioner which worked great ! Even the windshield washer works...I know a lot of people with classic vehicles that have been restored and none have a functioning windsheild washer....

That's a heck of a deal!! I have A/C also and a working windshield washer too!! I recently replaced all the hoses from the fluid tank to the nozzles as the nozzles kept getting plugged up. I think I need to just go ahead and replace the washer tank, sounds like it has some crud in it.
