Greetings from NC!!
Hey y’all,
I am Erich. I have a 2009 Mustang GT glass top with about 207000 miles on it. I bought her from a garage in 2020 with a salvage title for the experience of learning how to work on it and boy oh boy am I ever.
So far I have change the front hubs, brake pads all the way around and the headlights. I am getting ready to change out the diff fluid as I am very sure that it had not been changed. Also flushing the brake fluid and replacing rear calipers as I am sure they are not working correctly. Ordered new ones the other day.
I do have a bit of an issue though and hope someone can direct me to it. The problem just started in January. Car has been parked since. First the car is not throwing a code. It fires up everytime. I go to put it in gear and take off and I have to push the gas pedal down more than normal to get it to move. It will finally move about 2500-3000 rpm. It sounds as if I am riding the clutch but I can honestly say that I am not. Any help on this issue is greatly appreciated because I want to drive my car so bad.
Thank you,
Erich

With 207k miles, when was the last time your "09" had a complete tune-up? it could be anything from spark plugs, throttle body, MAF sensor, 02 sensors, fuel pump, fuel filter and so on.. Unless the vehicle is looked at, there's really no way to know for certain what could be causing your issues.. Meanwhile, let us know if any of the following have been checked and also welcome aboard..
