car on order
Hi,
New to site and Mustangs in general . Never disliked them , just too many on the road for my tastes . That all changed when the Shelby came out with 662HP . Who doesnt need a car with 662 HP? I cant think of anyone . I ordered 8-10, Candy red w/ white stripes . Never a big fan of tape stripes . This car needs to look different so I kept them . Ordering this car was a pain in the butt . The dealers I contacted were some of the lower life forms on the planet . I think I would have met a much better class of people trying to score some crack in the ghetto . The dealer I went with seems OK so far . I hope that lasts .
Impatiently waiting !

I was frustrated with several dealers until I found a local dealer (Betterndorf IA) and spoke to a salesmen that was honest and an overall straight shooter. I've been very please so far just want my car. They're telling me 8 to 10 weeks. Based on everything I'm hearing for the dealership sounds like it will be all of 10 weeks. Please keep us posted on how long it takes to get your car.
Wish you the best with your new monester GT500 and yes I'm jealous

Congrats on the order Jim. That is definitely going to be one seriously striking color combination.
Whatever you do, make sure you make friends with the person who ordered your car and that he or she is on top of the Ford district rep. constantly about getting your car order placed.
Sometimes dealers will pass on allocation, which in turn could move yours up the ladder.
You take that to the bank Jim.--------Bill
