Another Newbie from the Pacific NW
Hello all and happy Holidays!
I am the proud owner of a 2010 Red Candy GT. I really wanted a Shelby or a Boss, but I still have kids I have to support, so I'll have to be patient, and what better way than with a GT? I am also using a fairly new computer, and don't have any pictures to add to my profile, but I'll fix that shortly. I am hoping this is a good place to ask questions about performance, enhancements, what to stay clear of, ect. I have added my car to the Red Mustang Registry, and I'm a member of both the local Mustang Club, and Military Muscle Cars, which use to be Military Mustangs, but since there are so many cool cars out there, they expanded. I drive about two and a half hours daily, mostly stop and go. This covers a distance of 84 miles so as you can see my average speed is about 33 MPH. I have a friend who is a State patrol trooper, and he once asked me how fast my GT goes(!) Since I have no luck with getting out of traffic tickets, I told him the truth-About 70! The club has an annual track day, so I'll find out then, how fast she can go. Between now and then, I hope to improve the car's braking and maybe acceleration (but since its a daily driver getting just over 20 MPG, I'm going to be careful messing with performance). So, now, I think I'll go explore the forums and start asking questions, and maybe answering what I can!

Ah! In Spanaway. Since I'm in PCMC, I'm sure we'll see/we have seen each other! My poor car is so dirty right now, it's actually embarrassing. I have Wednesday off, and I already told my wife I'm working on it all day-weather permitting. So far, we're suppose to be good, but that can change. Mach 1, huh? Old or newish? I love both. I volunteer with the Lemay Family and I got to drive (a little) a '69 428 last summer. I felt AWFULLY comfortable in that car, just couldn't afford the sticker! I can't stop thinking about the renderings I've seen of the 2015 Mach 1. I hope they're close. I watched Jay Leno's garage special about the 2015 GT, and noticed Brembo brakes on the GT, along with independent suspension AND what I assume is 450+ HP, then I expect the Mach one will be closer to 500 HP! Yummy.

Well thanks for the welcome! Vancouver always seems to have some Mustang gems, based on what I've seen in Mustang monthly..I finally got some of my stuff back online, so now I have my baby on my avatar. I also found my window sticker. Sadly, it does NOT say track pack on it.., but I do have 19" wheels..
