Another new guy from Michigan
Hi,
I just joined. I found your stomping grounds through an internet search to try and understand the ordering process and 'dealer allocation.' Excellent explanation here in the forums and I decided that any place this informative is definitely worthwhile! I have been spending time at a different forum; shhh, don't let anyone know...
I have a 2004 Mustang V6 Coupe that is a very fun car in its own rite. It was 'borrowed' by my son and taken off to college 2 years ago and I miss it so much I ordered a new 2015 Ecoboost! The order has been sitting now for 3 weeks and my quest for information as to why has led me here. Now I understand! I hope it gets scheduled tomorrow as it will be 'Thursday', the day scheduling happens.
This will be my 4th Mustang. My 1st was a 1983 GT with the 5.0L and a 4 spd manual. My 2nd was a 1997 GT Convertible with the 4.6L 5 spd. Of all I think I enjoy the 2004 V6 Coupe the most so far but I think that may change in the next couple of months.
I was sold on the 2015 in the Fall of 2014 when I had the opportunity to drag race an Ecoboost manual against a GT automatic. Oh what fun that was. I went from 'oh I wish' to 'hurry up and get here.' LOL... All in good time!
Looking forward to more Mustang mania and participating where I can.
