Since were on this subject, what do you guys use to sharpen? Ive been looking at the japanese water stones more for my kitchen knives but for my folding knives and such, especially with serations, im curious what works. I currently have a good ceramic rod i use for the fine edge, but if its in bad shape I have a two sided stone i use to get it in good enough shape to then use the ceramic.

I have one of the early LoRay's (70's), but the Lansky is the same concept for keeping a consistent angle.
For my Henckel's in the kitchen I just use the steel.
I don't do serrated.

Benchmade makes a really fine product. Mine are older models; I have an AFO and a couple of the Mini-Reflexes: one with the safety lock and the other without. I have a Buck 110 Folding Hunter that has been "automatified", a few Europeans (Boker, Klaas, Hubertus, etc.), and a whole bunch of antique Americans, all the way back to the original Press Button models. Don't carry those, though.

I LOVE my Spyderco Paramilitary 2. So much so that I'm going to buy another. My current one should probably be on backup duty...the blade has about had it.

That's going to be my next purchase. My dad and I both have a few BMs, but he has a few Spydercos too. I love em. So sharp!

Used these {DELETED By Kc} They are good-looking and very sharp, durable. Anyone tried this?
