Spyderco makes the only really good home sharpening system that I am aware off. I do my own honing but I leave sharpening to others.

I have and use this exclusively for all my knives, kitchen and carry knives. Easy enough to use and hard to screw up a blade from being at the wrong angle.

I have one of the early LoRay's (70's), but the Lansky is the same concept for keeping a consistent angle.

For my Henckel's in the kitchen I just use the steel.
I don't do serrated.

I have a Buck 110 Folding Hunter that has been "automatified", a few Europeans (Boker, Klaas, Hubertus, etc.), and a whole bunch of antique Americans, all the way back to the original Press Button models. Don't carry those, though.

I LOVE my Spyderco Paramilitary 2. So much so that I'm going to buy another. My current one should probably be on backup duty...the blade has about had it.

That's going to be my next purchase. My dad and I both have a few BMs, but he has a few Spydercos too. I love em. So sharp!
