Finished Zelda.

Took me 36 hours on the wii clock.
So around 34 hours + the pauses I took.

Big game, but thought it would be bigger.
Then again, the Cube version has to fit on one cubedisk too.

Can't wait to see a Zelda made JUST for Wii...
This one looks gorgeous and its not even full potential (Wii and Cube look identicle, other than it being a complete mirror opposite so link is left handed on the cube, right on the wii)

 

Sim City is SO not what I remember from when the girl was a baby. I remember it being magical back then when she had her days and nights mixed up and I sat for hours in the middle of the night playing it. Now it looks all antiquated(I guess from years of playing it for reals on the PC)

The VC needs more games to download. I already maxed out the 360 Arcade, I need new amusements.

 

Finally got my Wii this morning. I had to camp (I've never camped for anything before) for it too, they only had 9 in. I showed up at 7pm yesterday and I was #8. Thank god it was a 24 hour Wal-Mart...

 

My final answer is I hate the wii.
The rest of the family loves it.
The wiimote drives me insane.

 

So people are STILL camping outside stores to get theM?!??

That's crazy being almost 3 weeks after launch!!!!

 

We just finished Story mode in Rayman. It was fun.

 

I don't know about where you are, but they are nowhere to be found here.

Also, the boys were bowling last night- there were lots of Wii folk in the background, we were trying to figure out if they were real or fake.

 

Yeah, everything is still sold out around here, but I don't think people are still camping.

I heard back a while that Toys R Us had some, but then boom..they were gone within 2 hours... so I don't think people were camping, just walk-ins

 

Went to Gamestop yesterday to pick up Castlevania, but they didnt receive their shipment!! It seems to be lost somewhere ><

Well, while I was waiting for more info, I asked them if I could use the Wiimote... they had the Zelda demo!
It is freaking awesome!! I did the dungeon first. It was jaw-droppingly good. the controls were very tight and it took just a 5 minutes or so of constant fumbling to get the hang of it.
Fishing was really cool lol. Didn't catch a fish though.

 

i just started working at gamestop... for us we dont usally get the games till the day after the street date but seems like you in CA shoudl of gotten it by now? anyway we only have the excite truck game as the demo cant wait till xmas for zelda

 

Yeah, it's nuts, but these things as hard/harder to get than PS3's right now. Last figure I heard was something like 5 Wii being sold per second

I honestly don't get the people hurling their remotes. I don't even use the wrist strap half the time because I find it uncomfortable, but I've never even come close to letting go of it. I think it's just that 1/4 of the population that's retarded, source: South Park.

just last night i was playing wii bowling and a beer bottle was on the coffee table smacked the crap out of it, the bottle flew across the room, beer on the wall... and i knocked down 9 pins... the remote worked fine... i do have a glove but i think the remotes are tough
