I'm curious about something, are you using an 802.11G wireless router for your home network? Are you getting an error code from your Wii?

 

Not sure, but we are getting an error from the Wii.

 

Is the error code 51330? I believe that error code is caused by trying to use the Wii with an 802.11g wireless router in mixed or G modes. G-spec routers support G (obviously) and B wireless. B is older and slower (11 Mbps vs 54 Mbps for G) but the Wii uses a B-spec wireless transmitter. With some, possibly all, I'm not sure at this point, G-spec routers the Wii will not work in Mixed mode (and it will never work in G-only) so the solution may be setting your Router to B-only mode. It will slow down your network, but all G equipment is backwards compatible with B so you shouldn't have any compatibility problems.

 

I waited in line for the wii and the stang provided me and 3 friends some warmth and a source of power for my laptop for some of the time... so who on here got a wii, what games and how do you like it?

i love it and besides wii sports which came with it i got super monkey ball bannana blitz...
the games are fun not to mention the crazy mii channel!

I have Zelda. My husband is playing the Wii, I am in Pinata land hours a day.

sorry for the second thread, didnt realize the release date one had anything about getting them... all i can say is my right arm is sore and according to wii sports training im 58 even though im 20... i need to get back in shape

Finally found a Mii Maker online!
It's not official or as cool looking as the real Mii, but it is supposedly close to the real thing
I get to have fun with it!
