Wishing someone were cooking dinner for me tonight. And, as a result, will shortly be cooking dinner for myself tonight.

 

Come on over I made stuffed bell peppers and mashed potatoes

 

 

Canning. The last few days it has been 18 pints of tomato sauce and 14 pints of chopped tomatoes. Last week it was 12 pints of strawberry jam. Before that it was 4 pints of mango chutney and earlier this year lemon curd. Somewhere in there we also canned some beef broth and some chicken broth. Along the way we also produced two batches (two fifths each) of limoncello and one of arancello. All good stuff, and we KNOW what's in it. Yeah, we love to cook.

 

I'll take a rum and coke and those bell peppers look delicious!

I've been having a serious hankering (thanks work) for a glass of wonderful, delicious, scotch on the rocks. And I do mean rocks.

We were suppose to be in New Braunfels today at the river =/ no one could make it tho.
