I actually kind of like Harvick. Have liked him since a few years ago at a roadcourse race and that Mexican, Argentinian or whatever the hell he is, Montoya hit him in a turn and wrecked the **** out of both of them. They both got out and Harvick was raising hell and pointing fingers at him.

Later when they interviewed Harvick, they were reviewing the video of them in each other's faces and asked Harvick "what were you talking about?" Harvick said "I don't know what he was talking about, but I was talking about whipping his ***!" Loved that response, reminded me of a typical old school Dale Sr. response.

The girls call him big G. The guys call him fat boy. or baller. I just call him Z's dad.

Harvick is a first class dick. I'd root for just about anyone to put him into the wall.

My favorite brother-in-law works for Dupont and he and his daughter are diehard Jeff Gordon fans. Every time Gordon's name comes up I say, "oh yeah, he is that gay Nascar driver"

I hated Sr/. back in the day, but at the same time I respected the hell out of him. He was without a doubt one of the best drivers ever to sit behind the wheel. He saw things and sensed things that very few drivers will ever do and could react to them instantly. He had a talent that was unmatched. He was a dick and an **** hole, but he was one of the best that ever lived at what he did. Watch the DVD Movie series "3". I actually gained a lot more respect for him after that.

Dale was different. He didn't talk, he took care of his business on the track. Made a lot of people mad but they had an opportunity every time they were on the track with him to do something about it. He still won. I met him when my roommate and I in New Orleans went back home to the Carolinas and stopped by his shop. He happened to be there and we talked to him for about 15 minutes before we let him get back to work. My roommate's father was a friend of Dale's dad. He was no different in person than what everyone saw on tv and at the races. What you saw was what you got. He reminded me of my uncle: if there's something that needs to be done, then you do whatever it takes to do it, no matter what it takes, who it pisses off, what it costs you. He didn't let anyone else determine how things were going to go for him. Hard to work for people like that but that's why they're successful. My uncle is the person I admire most because of that.

I never said or implied that Sr. wasn't a great race car driver. He was just a giant arzhole when it came to racing. I never talked to him in person even though I was very close to him a few times. IMHO he just used his bumper more than he should have. Just ask Terry Labonte one of the nicest and also a very successful NASCAR driver.

Not our cats.

Still no luck. Set up my old phone to live stream while we went to dinner and saw him a couple times. Dogs kept barking though and scared him away before he would go in the live trap. We're thinking he's in the basement now and have it blocked off with the trap down there.
