What're you doing?
Been studying a crash course in electronics... Hoping to get a chance at a job soon that will require passing a test with some of it...if that job is scored, it's one I'll retire from.
Good luck man. Not sure what the job is but E&I is not a bad field to get into either. With your IT background, instrumentation would suit you well. Just a suggestion.
. Telecom field tech for al power co. The position is 95% crap I know, but there is still some radio, electronic stuff involved. So I gotta best out the radio and electronic techs that don't know computers, yet know that stuff well.

Cool. Doesn't sound bad at all. Hope it works out for you. If it doesn't, check into instrumentation. I really wouldn't mind getting into that field myself but I'm pretty much locked into what I'm doing now. The instrument guys have better jobs than me though. Or at least better hours and more interesting jobs.

Good luck Scott. One of my family members has worked for Al. power for about 20 years, he makes great money. Not sure what he does, something at one of the power plants.
been snacking on frozen grapes from last years harvest and watching the dogs wrestle on the floor while some random movie plays in the background. Rain is pounding outside.

I've only checked auto trader like 23 times today.
