You've got that right!! You'll know when I'm doing home repair, there will be lots of cussing, *****ing and tool throwing, lol.

As you probably know, not much up here. Mostly generic, corporate stuff. Same group owns most of the different restaurants that have bbq and its not even made on site I don't think, but they all proclaim it to be the "best ribs in America". Yeah, right. Makes me miss my buddy's place at home.

Ain't that the truth!! I hate sick people, I actually think I'm becoming a germaphobe. I don't touch door ***** or anything when I'm around someone sick, don't touch my face, nose, eyes, etc. and wash my hands with scalding hot water and soap constantly when I'm around them. Of course that my just be a mutation of my little OCD problem, lol.

I can look down on the valley and see Apple Barn in the distance from my upstairs bedroom balcony. Looking at it right now. Never ate there, even though I have to drive by it multiple times a day when I'm here. Planning to go to Bullfish for dinner after while. Ever tried it?

No i havent, let me know how it is. You should try Applebarn tho at least once. Theres the main big one in PF, but theres a smaller one up at the top end of gburg thats smaller and more quaint. I like it. Cant remember what i get there honestly, but the apple fritters are

At least your looks match the way you feel.

Oh, its good. I really like it. We always eat there at least once every time we come, I'm here 2-3 times a year at least, and the ol' lady comes up 6-8 times a year. Kind of ritzy for the area, but not over the top by any means. Always good food and excellent service. And they were one of the first places in town to start serving liquor when the resolution finally passed in the election last year, lol.

Everything we've ever had there has been good. A little pricey on the final tab considering its a casual dress place, but not bad though considering the area. Good atmosphere, good service, good food, can't ask for much more around here.

I have to admit, the seafood is pretty damned good considering where it is. They have their stuff flown in fresh from the Gulf every day.

There's a link to the menu on there somewhere.

http://www.bullfishgrill.com/

The wait is usually really long on weekends and holidays (you know how crowded it gets up here), and they don't take reservations. But what most people don't know that I found out from a waitress a few years ago is that although they don't take reservations, you can call and have them put your name on the list. That way by the time we get there through traffic we can basically walk in and be seated. Really pisses off those people that have been sitting outside waiting on a table for 45 minutes when we pull in, park, walk through the door and get a booth immediately.

You can glean a lot of good information when you leave good tips.

Ill remember that place next time i'm up there.

Next time you come through bham, you really should meet me downtown and lets go to the Fish Market to eat. Amazingly great food, not real expensive and very fresh. They have their own boats at the gulf so very fresh seafood brought up daily. They supply alot of the higher end places in bham.
