I know the feels. Now, however, it's the best thing I could have done, except in winter, it's a little cold up there. Hats are very much a thing.

As far as what I'm doin', I'm making a chili/goulash/stew/mess. Ground Beef, Ground Turkey, Sausage, two kindsa beans, okra, corn, tomatoes, spices, water/stock, and a lil' butter just because. Per serving it shouldn't be bad on calories, and it tastes awesome. Maybe next time I'll add a little more corn and maybe some green beans or something.

I can't wait to dig in. It's meldin' right now, and heck yes I'm storin' the rest for leftovers.

So much faster in the shower. I have guys get mad at me for cutting mine down to 1/4" because I'm not going bald and they are. "What the hell man?! You've got a full head of hair and you're CUTTING IT OFF?!? That's just rude and cruel, man." Heheh

 

^yup. If I didn't need to look professional, I'd keep my head shaved. It's cooler, cheaper, and easier to dry.

I get ribbed on because I'm the weird one in my circle of friends that actually has hair. I should cut it short but I don't feel right with short hair. Usually have a hat on so it doesn't matter anyways.

 

IT guys have now become the cool kids in most buildings. They are necessary to run the place but don't run the place. Kinda like my job.

 

It's ironic that the guys that used to be in the marching band are now the cool kids.

I bet on certain sites they are sexual gods though.

 

lol really I do dress nice and maintain myself.
never thought about it that way but it's true lol. The cool thing is I don't work in one company, I work with a bunch and most of my clients I've developed a great relationship with, so it's like seeing friends all of the time even though I take fixing their issues seriously. Hell the ball park we did, I go drink a beer with the front office guys all the time.

Kind of. Genetics have been kind to my dad, but not to my Great-Grandad, Grandad, or Great-Uncle. I used to have thick *** hair, and then it started slightly thinning, but went into overdrive when I started dropping weight(I suspect I was eating at too large of a calorie deficit, and not getting enough protein.), and started thinning pretty bad over the last few months. Decided to say screw it and shaved it off last night. Also correcting my nutrition, we'll see if it comes back or not(don't really care, I'll keep shaving it if need be). Hoping my facial hair will fill out so I can get me a big beard to complement my shaved head. Just going to keep eating protein and see where it takes me.

Would have been smarter had I used an electric razor to trim it first, it was pretty long and the sides were extremely thick(had been three months since a hair cut and my hair surprisingly grows fast). Just went straight at it with a Safety Razor and feather blades. Took a good while, and made a mess.

Luckily didn't cut myself on my head, just knicked my ear and sliced my finger up a bit.

 

Fif! Nah, I meant for me like a buzz cut I guess, instead of no hair. The no hair is actually a better look, but I've got an odd head for that.

Yep, always go for the trim first.
