I don't think I've had it either. Several people in my family had the swine flu but I managed to escape. 
I'm actually scared to get the shot this year cause I got a bad cold after I got it last year.

Drink lots of water. You have so much pressure because your mucus is so thick and filling your sinus cavities and can't escape. Our mucus that our body normally makes is 95% water. Hints why they always tell you to stay hydrated. See ya learned something today! ;-)

Vitamin D and grapefruit seed extract should help too. 
I take this stuff every time I feel like I'm getting sick and so far it has worked. It tastes like rubber but it's better than feeling like crap. Just don't take it on an empty stomach.

Drinking a jelly glass full of Jeremiah Weed's Sweet Tea Vodka. I had to water it down to make it palatable, and I'm still not impressed. Rather have a glass of Stoly and orange juice.
