I was listening to R Kelly's Trapped In The Closet, but now I am rocking some Outkast.

I like the cut of your jib.

Boston is an awesome band to have seen live back in the day. So is Chicago.

Marshall Tucker Band

Jason is the only person I know with as much of an eclectic taste in music as myself. The combos he comes up with on some nights get me laughing.

What about me? I love Marshall Tucker Band, and Prince. It doesn't get much more eclectic than that.

This is quite true as well. I'm glad to see people with a true love of music, and not just "I love rock music". Maybe I hear music differently than other people, to me, half the time I couldn't tell you what the lyrics mean even though I know them. It's almost like another instrument in the band for my ears.

I'm trying to organize some of my Spotify music, and it's interesting to see what I've put on there. I've got rock, classic rock, alternative, southern rock, hip hop, a little rap, 50's-90's pop tunes, big band, swing music, classical, opera, blues, R&B, techno, electronic, dubstep, the groove tunes (not sexytime tunes (though I've got those too (Barry White anyone?)), tunes that are just smooth as hell), country, soundtracks, comedic tunes (Monty Python), Vegas style tunes (Dean Martin, Perry Como), and I listen to it all. Love plugging my Sennheisers into the receiver, turning up some music, closing my eyes, and just totally relaxing.

This thread is one of my favorites, even if I don't post in it all the time. I dig reading (or listening) what people are listening too, as the songs are sometimes a reminder or a new tune that I check out.

Is there a quick way to share those lists? I'm nearing 1,000 songs there (Not everything I listen to, just a lot of new stuff)

Let me look and I'll get back to you. I know you can make your whole profile public and then you just give me your username and I can search you...

I'm a music junkie, mostly rock and roll....been that way all my life, even did a side gig as a live DJ for about a dozen years in the 80's -90's.

The cool thing about being a music fanatic is that just when you think you know it all, it turns out you don't.

I got this cranked up at the moment. I never knew that Steve Miller's "Jet Airliner" was a cover until recently. This is the original, and IMO it just blows away the version we all know.

Leroy's self titled album. Most people know the song "Good Time"

Anyone else remember the original video before it was pulled and how it ended? Pretty shocking in that time period.
