I learned that the extractors at the front hood of my car create a negative pressure area towards the back of the hood. I hadn't noticed this until the the pollen thingies that had acculated in the cowl in a WTF moment were drawn under the hood.

 

I learned that my rain gear I've picked out works pretty **** good on the motorcycle in the rain... with the exception... STILL... of the gloves. But the jacket, pants, and best of all, the boots, worked like they should: I was *dry*. Yay.

I also had a decently working CB for the trip as well, until I tried the 2' Firestik. So I think I finally got it sorta figured out for a final configuration on Ride.
