Maybe they should have gotten a police dog to track him down.

As a kid I was really into model railroads with my Dad. (Our family has a lot of railroad history.) I had this RR crossing stop sign made from Tinker Toys. And I got this sticker in a box of Cracker Jacks that I placed on it. For a long time I thought it said "Stop look & listen".
But I finally looked at it close and it actually said "Stop kook & listen". rofl I should have known being out of Cracker Jacks.

(* I can't remember the name of the 60's toy - it was like 1/4" dowel rod of different lengths that would fit into pre-drilled holes in square and round connector blocks and you could sort of build things. I had them with a set of Lincoln Logs.)
Tinkertoys.

I didn't care as much for the Tinkertoys as I did Lincoln Logs. They were my favorite, but I'd run out building something and mix in the Tinkertoys to supplement them.

I only ever had a small set of Lincoln logs. I had a ton of Lego's though.

Tinker toys, Legos, Lincoln Logs.....toys for girly boys. My fav from around 1960 was the Remco Bulldog Tank and it would shred the bejusus out of those wimpy building blocks. Even as an 8 year old I was a politically incorrect right wing war monger.

The fun starts around 4:00....

Here's another one.

Since the new TMS likes to put stories about Mustangs street racing on the front page, maybe they'll put this one on the front page.

More than 60 people witnessed fatal L.A. street race; driver identified

No. I'll be the first to admit that I'm a dork, but if I was as dorky as that guy I sure as sh*t wouldn't be showing myself on a YouTube vid.

But his Bulldog tank sure brought back some great memories. Looks like some nice examples on Ebay that survived the 60's somehow.
