Lol, you can hardly tell whats cat and whats blanket. He loves this thing, its super soft and warm.







Of course all that grooming must be hard work, so he decided to take a nap now. Sound asleep, must be dreaming, his ears and feet are twitching.

I like that cat; wish I had his twin brother. My big old black tomcat is named Max too. I inherited him when Mom had to go into assisted living. Pretty sure he's the best cat in the world... I tell him so quite regularly, anyway, and he doesn't argue.

 

Happy 10th Birthday to Sandy!!! She loves her new toys and collar.

 

You wouldn't believe how much enjoyment hes brought into our home. He gets to where he really wants in at certain times, and when we let him he goes nuts. He plays more than any cat I've ever seen. He's got ***** with little bells inside them that he will chase around for hours. I've got a den that is like 34x40 that he goes wild in. He will chase those ***** all over the place in there, and swat them around like a soccer player round and round, then knock it into a cardboard box, and hide under the pool table like hes stalking it. Finally he will jump out and leap 3 or 4 feet through the air into the box and attack the ball, then come out with it wide open kicking it with all 4 feet around the room. And he will do it for an hour solid, then jump up in your lap and go to sleep. Its the funniest **** you've ever seen.

He is really special. I've never seen a cat that was this attached and connected to his group of people. Hes not like any cat I've ever seen, hes more like a dog actually.

 

I'm glad you decided to keep him. BTW, my cousin has a Manx that is completely snow white; the pads of his feet are pink, but his eyes are normal yellow/black cat eyes. If his eyes were pink, I'd say he's an albino; maybe he is anyway. My cousin lives in a real old house with wallpapered walls. That cat can dig in and climb those walls right up to the ceiling! Of course he's shredded the walls. Manxes are strange cats.

This sweet pretty little girl showed up at my work two weeks ago.......yeah she was hungry......so yeah i fed her.........



so wouldn't you know it.......now i have a new family here

Max is not happy about the weather. It was in the 80s Sunday, today its 40 with gusty winds and drizzling. Every time I've opened the door he was sitting right there and bolted in before I knew he was even around (must have heard me coming though the house).

Finally gave up and let him stay in for a while. Went right to that blanket in my office, curled up, and has been laying here asleep with his paws over his face for 2 hours.

Max is quickly eliminating the moles that have been screwing my yard up. Hes caught about 5 this week that I know of. Came out just now and he was sitting at the door with two laying there and had an expression like "look what I brought you!!"
