A thread for all those who were following the Silverbull threads.
I agree to many sides of this argument. At least the one that started this posting.
I think some posts were taken way too far, some were uneducated junk posts. I just think that in all honesty the blame still lied with silverbull. I am not trying to take any sides but what I saw. I think honestly if the guy would have just said, whoa, this is getting out of control and I apologize if I set anyone off like I did. Let's figure out what the deal is here and do what's necessary to be civil.
My temper flairs too. I'm married. Thank god I actually learned things in the Army. Otherwise I would be spouting nonsense like a kid also I'm sure. I just thought that there needed to be a "man-up" factor with silverbull as the guy was in his 30's, married and had a daughter. When you are the better man in a situation, it has to be you who takes control of it.
I won't comment about the guys driving record, I kept that to myself. But all the outlash and what not, I'm sure at that point many people would have offered help but it was way beyond that. I hope the guy isn't that way with his family and wish him the best. I hope he didn't suffer too much concussive damage. That's all.
Did I think many of the thoughts other posted, yes. Did I think the guy was deserving, yes. I also think everyone deserves a chance to be real with each other and shake hands, high five, fist bump, whatever you gotta do. I do my best to avoid getting angry and hate myself when I get that upset. I've seen too many bad things to get that angry.
I just so happen to catch all the madness in every post. I kept wanted to tell people the differences in prejudice, racism and stereotyping but never got in. Just need to educate people sometimes. I was blown away that the posts got as bad as they were.
I hope no one keeps judging the '10/'11 section so harshly. They are good guys and new Mustang enthusiasts. I joined because of it so call me what you will. I don't care. I just think it's still a good section of the forum and I enjoy being a part of it. It has taught me many things and continues to all the time.
