Like most subjects knowledge is power.... I unfortunately had no knowledge prior as these are my first glasses. I just hate that I have these awesome frames and now nothing will be able to be substituted.... sigh.... For me LASIK will never happen... Just one of those phobias nobody will touch my eyes let alone shoot them with a laser....

 

But lasers are cool!

I will probably get Lasik at some point, but until then, I will continue wearing contacts... I wore glasses for the longest time (regular, transitions and prescription sunglasses) and it got very old swapping back and forth all the time... And this was back in the day where you were very limited on prescription sunglass options. Then I got contacts and it was awesome being able to wear the sunglasses *I* wanted to wear again!

 

I can't stand having people mess with my eyes either, eye drops are a pain, and the one time I tried contact, the optometrist took like 5 minutes trying to get them in, and it took me 30 to get them out. But they force your eye open, so I guess I can deal with it for the 5-10 minutes it takes.

 

After I can afford oakleys I'll be getting a couple pairs

I thought you showed it to me?!? I'm still waiting for my M Frames. Debating on picking up the orange lens for skeet and trap shooting next time I go to the store. Maybe ill do some more shopping at the vault after I get paid.

 

No, this just came in the mail today. 2 polos, a jacket (none more than 19.99), a hat, and an Underbrush lanyard.... Darn awesome deals. The shirts were 50 to 65 each normal. The quality on the shirt and jacket are impressive... Part of why I love oakleys.

So my throw away glasses finally got to the throw away point a couple days ago. I pulled the old Oakleys out the case from my console. The old non-polarized gray lenses. Just sucked even compared to my throw aways. Stopped by the sunglass hut place looking for new lenses. No luck. Realized the reason I don't like Oakleys is the straight arms on all their glasses and the fact that most of them belong in a gay Star Trek convention. My whiskers are metal framed and I bent a curve in them a long time ago.
Stopped by Cabellas today and checked out a few new glasses while there. Walked out with a pair of Costa Del Mars because I just couldn't leave the place without them. Damm those lenses are fantastic. No wonder why every other guy around here has a pair. Completely impressed but pissed at you ****** for even making me think about my sunglasses. I still think Oakleys suck but did order a new set of lenses for mine anyways too.

 

Safety glasses should be here tomorrow. Patiently waiting. Going shooting Sunday so ill break them out.

 

I haven't gone shooting in over a year... I need to make time. Let me know how those glasses are working?
