Zto5 (don't know your real name), what do you do for a living where you wear sunglasses to work? Or, did I misunderstand that as you wear those to/from work?

As a matter of fact, ive never owned a pair and have never considered it. I have a pair of $24 polarized glasses I bought at Sam's and they've been some of the best ive ever owned.

haha... yes, I wish I could wear my Oakleys all day. But alas, my work day is spent in an office, ala office space. I work for an avionics company. Oakleys are only "rocked' to and from work, or any outside activity afterwards.

So you see my point.
If I have offended anyone in this thread accept this as an apology. And accessorize away guys.

Just trying to keep up the integrity of mustang drivers everywhere. Hate for us to be labeled "those guys"

I'm always very hesitant to buy online from anywhere that's not Oakley/Vault. I would think any place that is selling legitimate Oakleys is gonna have them for the same price as anywhere else (unless they're clearance).

I've only bought from Oakley/Vault and from Sunglass Hut. I tend to use Sunglass Hut to try them on, then I'll actually buy them online from Oakley. Sunglass Hut usually doesn't have a clue what accessories are supposed to come with it/etc., and everyone has tried/beat on those glasses. I buy new, and I want them to be new.

I had no idea Oakley products were so popular. They've got their own sub-culture like Apple or Starbucks

^ What he said. I tend to only buy Oakleys from an Oakley store (or Vault for deep discounts). Now that Steve showed my Vault online, I can now lose even more money for the sake of fashion. LOL.

Sunglass Hut is "ok"... They are a licensed vendor. But usually they're selection is so limited. They usually just have the plain jane black or brown pairs. I need color.

Np Al... lol... I'm on of those folks that you could label anything. I just flow. Muscle, sure. Fashion, sure..... and everywhere in between. Heck I used to own Infinitis, Nissans, Hondas, etc... I could be labeled a ricer.

Amen. You know it. It's a niche. I even saw an Oakley forum once.

Typically, I get mine from the Oakley store. I know D1ck's Sporting Goods sells them at some locations, and you can use Scorecard point rewards on them. You don't find them "on sale" unless the style is discontinued.

And yes, the Vault is going to drain my account too. See what you started!?!

Funny how they censored out that sporting goods store name haha.

But yes that vault online is like gambling online. I can feed my addiction without going to the actual place of sin lol

Thanks. To tell you the truth the transition lens are blah. They don't change at all in a car cause the windows block uv rays so they look like shooting glasses all the time. They may work in my convertible or outside but in a car, nope

That's good to know. I was close to buying transition split jackets at one point.

prescription lenses are ridiculous across the board for glasses. I wear the Silhouettes on the daily, and I love the immensely, but they were hella expensive. Can't wait to get LASIK and be able to wear regular glasses!
