22 years (13 overseas) in the Air Force( Air Police/Security Police (LEO) and AFOSI S/A), retired.
I had the weekend off and went to work the following Monday morning for Dept of Defense as an S/A, and just retired again, after 23 years.
Married 42 years, my wife worked for the Air Force for 17 years, as a civilian, until they contracted her job. She then became a Park Ranger, and just retired.
Our oldest daughter works for DOJ, and her husband is in the Air Force Reserve (two desert tours). Our youngest daughter and her husband are both active duty Army officers, both have been to the desert.
To all those still serving, in whatever capacity, God Speed!

23 years Army Aviation Maint and counting. I'm currently with the NJ Raid Team but I maybe suck into the Blackhawk attack BN for a up coming deployment. If I had the chance to go back in time to 1981, I would do it all over again and enlist. The list below is the helicopters that I have had the pleasure of maintaining during last two decades.
UH-1H
0H-58
UH-60

I've been in the Army for 10 years, on my third trip to Iraq (on the every other year plan '03, '05, '07) I've got less than 10 days before going home though!!! Can't wait! I've got a 2009 Vapor GT premium that's getting built for me as we speak, I'll get her in September
