Many fond memories of the P-3's. Once took a hop from Alemeda to Patuxent River by way of Beeville TX.
LONG flight!

I served 10 years in the Navy as a Machinst Mate, then got smart (no offense Navy guys) and switched over to the Coast Guard. I served 10 years as a Machinery Technician. I retired on April Fools Day, 1998. I now work for the U.S. DOT conducting ship inspections on the foreign vessels prior to them entering the St. Lawrence Seaway. Thanks to all that served, and those serving now!!

PS - would you believe, that the reason I joined (back in DEC 1980) is because I was hauled into jail for reckless driving in downtown Indianapolis, and when my dad picked me up from court the next morning, he dragged me down to the Army Recruiter's office to help straighten me out.

Another Mustang Lover and Orion Flyer here! I've been in for 12 years, lived everywhere from Maine to Florida to California. Currently, I'm assigned as a Tactical Coordinator (TACCO) at VP-10 in NAS Brunswick, ME. I'm amazed at how well the new S197 does in snow/ice with some good snow tires on her.

I was in the USAF for 5 years from 1989 to 1994. I have worked for the DOD as a government contractor ever since, I recently switched to civil service for the US Army. My wife is retired from the army after 20 years as a spook; she spent 11 years in Germany. We met at Bad Aibling Station when I was a contractor. I used to really enjoy driving my 91 Thunderbird 5.0 on the Autobahn. Thank goodness for super chips disabling my speed limiter.
Thank you to all of you who work to keep us safe, and help others live a life of freedom.

I have been in the Army the last 16 years. All of it in the Field Artillery. Have done time in:
Germany (currently 4th tour)
Fort Riley (2x)
Korea
Ft Hood
Ops:
Desert Storm (3AD)
Kuwait (1CD)
Kosovo (1ID)
OIF 1 & 2 (1ID)
Bought my first mustang the day after returning from Iraq. Always wanted one but not the astronomical insurance rates. I know now what I have been missing.........
