I went by the local dealer and when I was pulling in I saw a swarm of bees completely covering the front grill of a new Mustang. I'm not talking about a few bees.......thousands!!!! I told one of the salesmen about it and he did'nt believe me. So we went for a closer look. He was trying to figure out how to get rid of them. I told him to go get some guy out of the shop and tell them that the Mustang needed a boost off. Can you imagine if he popped the hood and walked to the front.I don't know how they got rid of them, but about 2 hours later they were gone. I need to start carrying my camera more.

I've seen reports of this happening to people who have run into the store in warm weather.
A queen bee goes somewhere and a whole swarm follows her.
They usually get a bee keeper from the zoo to remove the queen and the rest leave.

True bee story.
I'm sitting at a light with drivers window open. A single bee flies in between my face and the windshield.
It's just flying through on a straight line.
I open the passenger window (power) and it keeps on flying straight out.
I was glad I was alone. I know passengers who would have freaked with a bee in the car.

Wow. That's crazy. I guess the appeal for the new Mustang has reached unheard of heights having now attracted not just herds of people, but also herds of insects too!

Bees love yellow. When I worked for the department of highways, all of our trucks and equipment was yellow. There seemd to always be a swarm of bees around the cab.

So do flies. When I was younger I used to hang around in the pit area of the local race track. Yellow cars always had a bunch of flies walking around on them, while other colors hade none whatsoever.

My main reason why I will never get a yellow car.

This was in a '91 Emerald Green hatchback.
Maybe the bee thought it was funny looking grass to fly through

Its like pollen to the bees.....Everytime I take her outside she gets covered in buglife. Oh well, more excuses to wash and wax.

Well...that's to be expected when you buy a car with a "honeycomb" grille.

HEY... THATS what I was thinking... it must be the honeycomb grill! Just glad that when I ordered mine I went for the "bee delete option".
