Here is a black and white photo my uncle gave me that I have framed at the house. I cant remember where he got it from or how he got it but I believe he or a friend took it.

USS Ranger, CVA-61. I was on 2 Gulf of Tonkin Cruises '69-'71. We did operate with the Midway though and a friend of mune from "A" school got married aboard her.
Third pic shows decommissioned Ranger & Midway awaiting their fate. Trying to make Ranger a museum.

I have tons of photos, most copied from the original slides as that was the format we used back then.

Perfect weekend for a little veteran like myself. Got to sleep in all three days, bar-b-que and beer two days, didn't do a single thing on Monday except relax. Awesome!
