Here is a black and white photo my uncle gave me that I have framed at the house. I cant remember where he got it from or how he got it but I believe he or a friend took it.

USS Ranger, CVA-61. I was on 2 Gulf of Tonkin Cruises '69-'71. We did operate with the Midway though and a friend of mune from "A" school got married aboard her.

Perfect weekend for a little veteran like myself. Got to sleep in all three days, bar-b-que and beer two days, didn't do a single thing on Monday except relax. Awesome!

I did the bbq thing for our Arena FB Team and the fan club. Cooked Chicken, pork chopps, burgers, and dogs for about 100 people. The beer was cold so it helped a lot.
