to you too.Go back & watch the eppi. I just looked it up for you. Season 2 Eppi 19. They never come out & say "cancer" but they do say "remission" on more than one occasion. That does not spell "AIDS" it speaks of cancer. I just now watch a few key parts of that eppi & that's how it's stated.
"I've been in remission for the last few years, but it's back ...etc..." "Maybe you're just in remission again ....etc...."
EDIT: or was the laughing guy for the Sawyer quote intead. If soo I am sorry & please ignore my post. I have been up since midnight last night. And I just now realized that t-*hat's what it was probably for. Sorry. I am going to bed now.

All you people worried about catching up... just watch the first few episodes of S1 and the last few of S2. Nothing has happened. Plane crashed, got in the hatch, got out of the hatch and found the 'others'. Everything's the same... freaky island, lots of questions, no answers. I hope that this season gets somewhere in a hurry. If it's not moving by Jan, then I'm done with this show. What's in Jan???

The episode was interesting but leaves alot of unanswered questions. Like wtf happened to locke and eko? What are these "other" people after. I agree they need to give up alot more info. Well we'll see what happens next week. They spent way to much time on Jacks storyline.

my GF made us rewatch that first seen with the little town over and over again. that was just crazy!
and yes, there were some answers: at least we know where the polar bear came from now

I didn't like how the other's have a file with everything there is to know about jack. I hope it doesn't turn out that the Island is some crazy rehab clinic.

Well yea, the animal questions were sort of answered, not fully... but with every answer, there is a question
