yea that is pretty pathetic..they all got pissed because the mustang was ahead....soooooooooooo SAD.

 

What's even more pathetic is if the Camaro wins the poll there will be a thread claiming victory listed right after the "cheating on the poll" thread. Everyone will claim they only voted once and the Camaro is just better, blah blah blah.

Optimimus Prime - Yeah, it's apparent Ford has already squeezed a good bit out of the 5.0 from the factory. We've already mentioned factory "cai", shorty headers, and very high air flow in the engine design. Let's also not forget the optional 3.73 gears which contribute to close times with the SS... I think it's ultimately true it comes down to the driver. And the 5.0 can certainly be modded, although perhaps with less response than the LS3. But let's add cai, shorties, 3.73 gears, and a better breathing exhaust to the SS, which is still heavier, and I think you'll see "SS" crossing the line before you see "5.0" Not to mention, to its credit, the Mustang's got some great suspension tweaks/options, which the Camaro doesn't get from GM...

 

He is trying to compare stuff GM doesn't offer as a means to justify stuff that doesn't exist, tru camaro5er.

 

yea a couple other posters said the new GT has a high flow exhaust etc...I guess they have looked at the pictures on the internet that show all the crimps etc....
