Locked Out of my PC
#22
Well no luck with them so I stuck my head under the cold water tap for a while to cool off, I found one restore point that it did not delete, so I hit that eraser my own user as it was corrupted or what ever the live Onecare tune up deleted. & I finallyle to set up a new Admin account, I'm just trying it now to see if my goodies can be accessed. I got admin mut a lot of pics and stuff is gone my book marked pages but I have regained control I think ? I need a cold glass of milk

Aw man. If it deleted the account and files then you may be out of luck. Hopefully the user folder is still intact.
Try this.
Go to C:\Users\
Look for a folder with the name of your old user that you removed. If it is there you should have your pictures, documents, and all your files in there. You can simply drag them from the old location to the same location on the new user.
If this doesn't work and you are desperate to get files you could try this. It is best to download it to a USB drive and try recovering files from the hard drive and copy to the USB drive. (Your external drive)

Did you check under the C:\Users\username folder or just try the restoration program?
