I was checking out the Peterson Musuiem in LA on street view which got me to thinking about live web cams NOT THE DIRTY KIND. So if you know of a cool one or 3 post them up here.

I don't have any links handy at the moment, but on other various websites that I go on, they often searched for unsecured IP Network camera systems, or systems using the default password(you'd be surprised how many are), and there are some really interesting things that you find. I remember someone got access to what I remember to be a Russian apartment complex, where the had cameras inside the living rooms, and so you could just flip through and view what people were doing. Extremely weird, but also eerily interesting.

Of course, some would be personal home security systems, some even the insides of stores, or showing the sidewalks of a downtown city, which would inevitably lead to lots of pranks and other stuff. Some IP cams even also two way sound, so you could actually talk through the camera, but the same applies to many webcam based security or monitoring systems.

Biggest lesson I've drawn is to always change all passwords from default on anything similar.
