LED bulbs anyone?

quick question. dont they make universal LED bulbs u can put in tail lights? id like to get my dad in to using them on the HD F150. he just came to me and told me the 3rd brake light went out. but anyways dont they make a universal LED bulb for something like that?

If it's a newer truck the fourth one down the 3157 he will also need a load resister or a led flasher relay to keep them from blinking faster than you can count

hmm. would it be easy to wire all up? i really thought the LED bulbs would just go in place of the old bulbs with no modification or anything

The bulbs will plug right up but if you don't a load resistor on the wiring harness they will either blink really fast or just stay on because they draw so little power
