The last bullit you will ever need

Will you be loading anything other than .30-378? Have you made your mind up what sort of equipment you want to use? I've been loading for over 40 years now, and am still quite satisfied with the press I bought back in the mid-70's, a Bonanza Co-Ax. I suppose it's an antique now, but then so am I. Anyway the rounds we turn out together are most satisfactory to me, and I'm the #1 critic around here. You've got a whole lot more to choose from than I had, back in the "good ol' days". Choose wisely, and yours will last the rest of your life too.

The .30-378 round is the only rifle round I'll be using myself, but I may reload for my brother's rifles as well. I have a pistol and I might consider reloading for it as well. Haven't decided yet. If ammo becomes more scarce for it I probably will.

If you start reloading pistol rounds, be sure to spring for carbide dies, so as to bypass the tedious and messy case lubrication step. I would try to get my hands on an ample supply of .30-378 brass, inasmuch as that is not a mainstream round, and less demand = more likelihood of a cartridge's discontinuation. The steady introduction of new offerings is nothing more than programmed obsolescence, and while you can resize brass to fill your needs, it's usually an involved process with varying degrees of success. Best to have a good supply of factory brass.
