I filed the paper work and the court said they could not get in contact with here. oh well that car is old news now.

Bad idea, sorta like the lady the cut my brother off and he jumped out of the car and pounded on her windshield. I told my brother I loved him, but that lady would have been well with in her rights to pull out a large caliber handgun and blow his ****ing head clean off of his body.

Bottom line, seek the appropriate legal action (ie; small claims court, lawsuit, ect) if the insurance company doesn't resolve the matter. It may seem frivolous, but thats what its there for.

I'm with you, brother. There comes a times that it doesn't matter if you are right or not - it's just too much hassle and heartache to try and deal with these people. The legal system is not engineered to protect the average joe from "small" crimes. I had a shady contractor run off with $500 worth of deposit on the last job he had to do. Tried 5 times to serve him with papers, and they kept coming back. He moved, and there was no way for me to find him except maybe hire a private investigator.

And for what? To lose MORE money and still not necessarily have a chance to get my money back? Can't get blood from a stone...I'm with you.

I am young but I know what battles to fight. I also have learned my time away from work has its own value.

Everyone gets burned some time. Its about how you dust yourself off and move on.
