it's no wonder the post office
it's no wonder the post office
is going out of business and going broke
their service is just not acceptable..
I ordered an cpu upgrade for my computer, and per their records it was mailed on the 7th from Houston tx.
so far as of today it's went 252 miles with an estimated delivery date of Aug 17..
this was sent 1st class mail with deliver confirmation and tracking / insurance..
now I only live in ND, you'd think I live up in Siberia somewhere where it has to be packed in by mule or camel..
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I've only had one 1st class letter go awry in the last 10 years+, and I send my books via Priority all over the US & world since '95 without one problem. That's a pretty good record.

they have internet in ND?
in all seriousness, like mentioned about, i've never had issues with shipping priority, always ship that way when i have.
I know the OP was getting something shipped to him. Dunno where you ordered from but you shoulda got it from newegg. They're shipping is outstanding.

I use Priority Mail a lot and have never had a problem.
Sounds like you got what you paid for, and you shouldn't complain. Letters don't arrive yesterday either unless you pay for it, and this has been mailed as a letter, in effect.
First class isn't. Priority is. That's the deal.
If you wanted it sooner, you should have specified at least Priority mail, if not Express. Express it's there in two days, Priority, you have it by now at least, if not 3-4 days after.
What do you expect for a few stamps? Miracles? Pfft.

I don't expect miracles, and I don't know about the OP, but I expect a reasonable time on things. I'm sorry, but if I ship something Monday to a place that's less than 100 miles away, it should be there Wednesday at latest. It's one thing if it's got to go to the other side of the country, but that's ridiculous.

Lately we have been having issues with our mail as well and its getting to the point where everyone is calling and complaining and still obviously nothing is being done

Not totally defending the USPS, but often the companies will show a "shipped" date
which only reflects when the shipping label was issued. The actual piece ofmail may not actually enter the mailstream for a day or 2 after that.
Have to agree with using Priority mail. It is supposed to be handled the same as !st Class but seems to move much more quickly. It used to take 3-4 days for a 1st class letter to go 50 miles to my daughter. Now she is in CA and if I send a package by Priority, it gets there in 2-3 days, every time.

I finally got it, got it installed and she screams..
the sender had to call the PO and upgrade (pay more money) for them to speed it up..
