Motorola sticks me with a launcher I don't want/use, and Verizon loads it up with all sorts of crapware that is useless to me. Then they lock the apps so I can delete them and free up space.

I root, but I don't use any custom roms. I did for my original Droid, but had too many problems with the roms that were out there at the time, so I just gave up. I'm sure they have gotten better, but I haven't had the need yet. I just use GO Launcher and freeze the apps I don't want with Titanium Backup.
