iPhone 5....er...4S

I've had the original Motorola Droid with Verizon for about a year and a half now, and I think I'll probably be passing my Droid onto my wife (she currently uses a work supplied Motorola Razor) and jumping ship from the Droid platform to the new iPhone. I'm not as tech-savvy as I once was, and my droid has been ok, but I think I'm ready to try an iPhone. I already have 4 or 5 iPods and have most of my music on iTunes.

Some examples they demonstrated in the press conference.
You ask your phone, " do I need a rain coat today?" the phone replies "it sure looks like rain today" and then shows the weather screen.
They've also integrated it with yelp. He asked the phone, "find me a Greek restaurant in palo alto." the phone replies, "I've located 14 Greek restaurants, 5 are in palo alto, I've sorted them by rating."
I think this feature will be the selling point of the 4S.

You are letting AT&T off too lightly when you say their service sucks. I live in a "snooty" suburb of Houston with almost 100,000 residents and saying the service sucks there would be a compliment. Conversely we have a cabin in a town of 5500 in Colorado and AT&T coverage there is great. Go figure

Not all people want customizability like you mentioned. Most people want a phone that works correctly and isn't out dated in a month while having good dependability and thousands of apps. (without advertisements)

And I was only stating why android was better. Some users will not completely use both OS's too their full abilities... I like to try though

I think 4g may be faster but not the phone. I own a samsung galaxy tab and an ipad2. The iPad kills the galaxy and android app market sucks. Apple products do what I need them to do. I don't care what I can hack them up and make them do, they get the job done right out of the box.
