Internet problems

I have a DSL in my house and connection is shared with 3 computers in the house.

However, I'm having some issues with connection on my laptop. It opens pages pretty quickly, but then it won't load most the of the pictures on the page and eventually it times out. I should mention that this only happens with Firefox, not with IE.

I had same issues over and over and over in the past, sometimes it gets fixed by itself and sometimes I have to restart my modem in order to work.

I don't have that problem on other 2 computers in the house, just a laptop.

Anyone know what the problem is?

Same here I was given a newer faster modem but every now & then when it acts up I have to power it off then on and it's quick again for a while, could be the way the connection is set up on the lap top you could open up network connections delete the connection in place andset a new one up ? I think it's a Lan connection

The thing that confuses me is that it works fine on all other computers in the house and even on my laptop when I'm using IE. As soon as I start using Firefox on my laptop that's when problems start.
