On the surface this sounds gross
BUT
I got some new coffee creamer- its coconut creme. It tastes like a warm pina colada.

I learned how to make my OWN Fried Dill pickles. No more paying $4 a pop for them at the BBQ place down the road.
A lot of flour, a little breadcrumb, Tony Chaceres seasoning and pepper, roll em up and batter em throw em in the deep fryer and have some ranch dressing handy. DELICIOUS!

 

I was hungry so my 10 year old takes me to this neat place with good food ? its a pub, he's dad you gotta check out the Hot Tamalies in this place ok we'll go for a bit and watch the Sea Hawks against Raiders and eat , turns out one of the owners is a friend and the waitress wants to know all about me yadda yadda, My kid trying to get me hooked up That's Too Funny ! so they had Taco's two for 2.00 so a buck each he had a Dad's beer (root ) & I had gimger Ale I'm the designated driver .

 

I would love nothing more than to own and operate an authentic irish pub! It would never fly in alabama- they like dance clubs and redneck bars.

Last night I made spaghetti and meat sauce with garlic bread
And again I am craving Brian(and ellabee) whom I haven't seen in a week.

My Mom made Salmon croquets on Sunday. You are talking about good I love my Moms cooking!!

Also... i just spend 40 minutes searching for this thread. BUT!!!! it was worth it, searching wrong, and finding other old threads to make me giggle like a giddy gaggle of geese

what a night

 

I was craving sweet tea all week. Up north the trick is asking for UNSWEET tea and putting sugar in yourself. My first taste of southern Sweet tea was at the I-slop(gross) in Bristol Tn.

It was also nice to be home cooking too. Vacations are nice- but you want "home"

Ew- and last Friday night we ate at the grossest chinese buffet ever. Normally those things are one step up from eating out of the dumpster(FUNK CITY!), but this one was just ranker than normal. I wound up eating lukewarm crab legs and powdered donuts to keep me from starving to death. If I never ate chinese food again it would be a day too soon!

 

Why don't I eat chinese?
Brian offered me chinese for lunch and I declined in favor of Chic-Fil-a....

Guess what surprise he got in his chicken? A freaking FRIED CRICKET in his sesame chicken..... NOW, see why I hate that crap?

 

Some Chinese el Cheep'o still use kitty cats as chicken don't you know !

 

And that makes it even grosser. I won't eat it- I like rice, wonton soup and eggrolls- everything else is gross.

I'm craving Lobster again ! gees I'll have to call my son to see if he'd like to indulge again. I don't like onions ecept say for onion rings made with a Spanish onion, and The Keg Steak House here does these fries out of onions , deepfried no batter and they are tasty.ummmm

 

I am always craving lobster- but it costs the 4 of us almost $100 to go for seafood. Maybe tomorrow.....

Yes, its 5:42 here and its definitely 5 o clock here and 5 o clock somewhere else too! Time for a HAPPY excursion that doesn't end with me cursing someone's wellbeing.

We have what is known as the crawl here everyone in the town core are off about 4:00 pm so going in town to eat 10 min try to come home in the crawl at least 1 Hour AH a person has to eat , it's good to curse helps one release all that built up tension that you don't take out on the spouse or you don't get to go out. Ok I'll shower now and crank the tunes ! It's my Wednsday oh joy !
