My sage dressing, my taco dip, my mom's potato salad, my bro's deviled eggs, my sis-in-law's macandcheese, my sis-in-law's mom's cranberry crunch and sweet potato casserole, anything else that's likely to be there, and the oysters from the turkey as my reward for carving it.

/hurry up Thursday!
//Although Tuesday I have to make cornbread, then wednesday make the dressing and dip... ugh.
///totally'll be worth it.

Is it a cornbread based dressing. That's what my mom makes. Cornbrea, celery, shallots, toast pieces, sage, lots of butter, and turkey juice.

Come on Thursday!

Yikes! Sounds more like cookout items than Thanksgiving!

I'm actually craving the good old jellied cranberry sauce straight from the can. Chilled ice cold and sliced. You can still see the ridges from the side of the can in the slices.

That stuff is like maple syrup when you put it on top of a great southern cornbread dressing. And a little giblet gravy too.

I'm gonna have to wear my stretchy pants come Thursday.

There's the people that try to make it themselves.

You've seen the stuff. Some kind of Martha Stewart foo-foo crap.
