Don't worry Beaumont. Looks like Shepard Smith is gonna take care of you. Did you see him? The wind blew ol'Shep over and into the grass. Where's Heraldo? He's probably on some oil platform dodging the incoming bullitt like flying fish before him!!!

Alive and well in Norman, OK. I'm waiting for the word from home that it's OK to come back. I did hear from a friend of mine that stayed that my house is in good shape other than a few missing shingles and the fence is FUBAR. I'll feel pretty lucky that I have a home to go back to.

I boarded up and stayed here and rode out the storm. Seen worse here before, but it could have been a lot worse here in Houston if it didn't make the turn it did. Only minor tree damage, some fence boards and roof shingles torn off in my area.
After seeing the roadways I was glad I decided to stay home. Some of my family members took off and ended up in Memphis, Tenn. after 2 days driving. Others went to Dallas in 30 hours and College Station in 20 hours. Some still aren't back home.
Hope all of you are okay and made/make it home safe. Now bring on the gas so we can drive these babies!

Steve

No Problems weather-wise here. Just a little drizzle-type rain and about 30mph winds. On the other hand, someone broke into my car and stole my amp out of my trunk. They tossed my sub box. The subs were in bad shape. Tried to "emminent domain" also my Stereo also but could not get it out of the dash. No harm to the car itself, though.. This is why I won't buy a Stang while I live in these downgraded apt's. Need to wait until Apr 06 when I move to a safer haven.
